What to prepare
- Legal company name and registered address
- Company/trade registration number
- VAT or tax number
- Contact person, email and telephone
- Brands/trading names
- Packaging types, component materials and weights
- Country-level annual quantities by required reporting category
How to submit
- 1Confirm whether the packaging is household or commercial packaging.
- 2Appoint an Austrian authorised representative before distance sales to private final consumers if the company has no Austrian establishment.
- 3Join an authorised collection and recovery system for the applicable packaging stream.
- 4Register the responsible company/representative in EDM and retain the ZAReg confirmation.
- 5Report placed-on-market masses to the system and keep the mandate and participation agreement.

- Reconcile national reports to sales and packaging bills of materials; retain the submitted values and official result.
