What the free check covers
The check starts with ordinary facts about one exact packaging construction. It identifies which company appears to control the packaging design, whose name or trade mark is used, how the packaged product reaches the EU, and who first supplies it in each selected country.
Those answers are mapped to the appropriate working output. An own-brand business may need a manufacturer technical file and Declaration. An importer normally needs to verify and retain the real manufacturer documents. A reseller normally needs a narrower verification record.

What to have ready
You can begin with only the product and packaging name. Supplier specifications, declarations, drawings, test reports, spreadsheets and packaging photographs can reduce manual entry, but they are not required to start.
Information extracted from a file is a suggestion until you confirm it. If a weight, material, identifier or declaration is missing, the record keeps that gap visible instead of inventing a value.
A missing item is not a reason to abandon the check. It becomes a named action and can be included in a supplier request and the final Missing Information file.
What the result does—and does not—mean
The result is a documentation-readiness assessment based on the facts supplied. It helps organise the work; it is not a certificate, laboratory test, authority decision or legal opinion.
A Declaration is prepared only for the manufacturer route and remains a draft until the responsible manufacturer verifies the evidence and signs it. A national registration is shown as Registered only after the customer saves an identifier issued by the official system.
