What applies

• Create the producer account in RPPO. Croatian e-service credentials or the route for a foreign producer/representative may be required according to the company establishment and selling route.
• Registration route: direct self service

What to prepare

• Legal company name and registered address
• Company/trade registration number
• VAT or tax number
• Contact person, email and telephone
• Brands/trading names
• Packaging types, component materials and weights
• Country-level annual quantities by required reporting category

How to submit

1. 1Register the responsible producer in RPPO before or when the regulated activity starts.
2. 2Add packaging and placed-on-market quantity data.
3. 3For deposit beverages, register the beverage at least 14 days before placement and send the packaging sample for marking verification.
4. 4Submit RPPO reports and pay applicable waste-management fees.
5. 5Retain RPPO confirmations, invoices and deposit-verification evidence.

What to keep

• RPPO registration/reporting confirmation and waste-management-fee records; beverage-packaging verification where the deposit system applies.
• Submitted quantity declarations and acceptance receipts
• PRO/EPR scheme contract and invoices where applicable
• Representative mandate and confirmation where applicable

Ongoing obligations

• Report products and packaging quantities placed on the Croatian market in RPPO and pay the calculated waste-management fees on the applicable schedule.
• Update the registration when company, representative, brand, packaging stream or contact information changes.
• Reconcile national reports to sales and packaging bills of materials; retain the submitted values and official result.
