What applies

• Contract with the authorised packaging company EKO-KOM or establish a legally accepted individual route; the contract onboarding provides the operational reporting account.
• Registration route: self service plus pro or epr scheme

What to prepare

• Legal company name and registered address
• Company/trade registration number
• VAT or tax number
• Contact person, email and telephone
• Brands/trading names
• Packaging types, component materials and weights
• Country-level annual quantities by required reporting category

How to submit

1. 1Confirm first placement of packaged products in Czechia.
2. 2Choose the EKO-KOM collective route or document an approved individual system.
3. 3Enter company, brands, packaging types and forecast material weights.
4. 4Submit periodic packaging statements and pay the calculated fees.
5. 5Retain the contract, customer identifier and submitted statements.

What to keep

• EKO-KOM contract/customer number and accepted quantity statements, or Ministry evidence for an approved individual route.
• Submitted quantity declarations and acceptance receipts
• PRO/EPR scheme contract and invoices where applicable
• Representative mandate and confirmation where applicable
• This country action guide and supporting source documents

Ongoing obligations

• Keep packaging records and submit quantity statements in the frequency set by the authorised packaging company or individual-compliance approval.
• Update the registration when company, representative, brand, packaging stream or contact information changes.
• Reconcile national reports to sales and packaging bills of materials; retain the submitted values and official result.
