What applies

How to submit

1. 1Create and validate the company account in EMPA.
2. 2Register the applicable packaging activity and company/brand details.
3. 3Conclude a contract with an EOAN-approved packaging system.
4. 4Enter material weights and submit annual declarations.
5. 5Retain the EMPA registration evidence, system contract and declaration receipts.

• Submitted quantity declarations and acceptance receipts

Ongoing obligations

• Submit annual placed-on-market packaging quantities by material through EMPA and the contracted approved system on its schedule.
• Update the registration when company, representative, brand, packaging stream or contact information changes.
• Reconcile national reports to sales and packaging bills of materials; retain the submitted values and official result.
