How to submit

1. 1Classify the company as packaging producer/user/importer from factual transactions.
2. 2Confirm CONAI enrolment for the Italian entity or the applicable foreign/e-commerce route.
3. 3Choose the correct import or packaging declaration procedure.
4. 4Report quantities and pay the CONAI Environmental Contribution on the stated schedule.
5. 5Retain membership, declarations, invoices and any export/exemption documentation.

Ongoing obligations

• Declare packaging quantities and CONAI Environmental Contribution according to the applicable importer/producer procedure and frequency; retain invoices and exemption/export evidence.
• Update the registration when company, representative, brand, packaging stream or contact information changes.
• Reconcile national reports to sales and packaging bills of materials; retain the submitted values and official result.
