What applies

• Enter the packaging producer register within 30 days after starting the packaging activity. A foreign company is entered by its Slovenian authorised representative.
• Registration route: self service plus pro or epr scheme

What to prepare

• Legal company name and registered address
• Company/trade registration number
• VAT or tax number
• Contact person, email and telephone
• Brands/trading names
• Packaging types, component materials and weights
• Country-level annual quantities by required reporting category

How to submit

1. 1Appoint a Slovenian authorised representative if the producer is a foreign company.
2. 2Enter the packaging producer register within 30 days of starting activity and confirm the email link.
3. 3Choose a joint packaging-waste management scheme or approved individual route.
4. 4Report material quantities and pay scheme/environmental charges as applicable.
5. 5Retain the register code, representative mandate, contract and reports.

• Confirmed entry in the packaging producer register plus joint-scheme contract/reporting evidence.
• Submitted quantity declarations and acceptance receipts
• PRO/EPR scheme contract and invoices where applicable

Ongoing obligations

• Report packaging placed on market by material through the joint-scheme or applicable authority route and keep the producer-register data current.
• Update the registration when company, representative, brand, packaging stream or contact information changes.
• Reconcile national reports to sales and packaging bills of materials; retain the submitted values and official result.
