What applies

• Register through the Swedish EPA e-service using supported e-identification, hire one of the approved PROs, and download the registration certificate. Responsibility applies regardless of quantity.
• Registration route: self service plus pro or epr scheme

What to prepare

• Legal company name and registered address
• Company/trade registration number
• VAT or tax number
• Contact person, email and telephone
• Brands/trading names
• Packaging types, component materials and weights
• Country-level annual quantities by required reporting category

How to submit

1. 1Hire an approved packaging PRO.
2. 2Register the producer in the Swedish EPA e-service and identify the factual basis for responsibility.
3. 3Provide company/tax identity and the selected PRO.
4. 4Report annual weights by material plus required reusable/SUP/deposit figures.
5. 5Download and retain the registration certificate, PRO agreement and reports.

• Submitted quantity declarations and acceptance receipts
• PRO/EPR scheme contract and invoices where applicable
• Representative mandate and confirmation where applicable

Ongoing obligations

• Report annually the previous calendar year's kilograms by packaging material and specified consumer/reusable/deposit/SUP categories; the PRO may report on the producer's behalf.
• Update the registration when company, representative, brand, packaging stream or contact information changes.
• Reconcile national reports to sales and packaging bills of materials; retain the submitted values and official result.
