EU packaging conformity documentation
The conformity workflow asks which company is responsible for the packaging assessment, technical documentation and Declaration, or which importer/distributor verification applies. It maps the packaging against Articles 5–12 and the Annex VII procedure.
The output is reviewed and retained by the responsible operator. It does not register a company in a national producer register.
Country registration and EPR readiness
The country workflow asks who first supplies the packaged product in the country, where that company is established, who sells to the end user and whether a representative or scheme arrangement is needed.
It reuses company, brand, packaging, material and quantity information, then adds country-specific fields. The state remains Need more information, Registration required, Registration information incomplete, Ready to register or Registered as the facts progress.
- Official register or filing destination
- Responsible company and representative details
- Packaging categories and material quantities
- PRO/system/scheme details where applicable
- Exact external submission and reporting steps
- Identifier and confirmation to save afterward
What “ready” and “registered” mean
Ready to register means the software has collected the currently identified information for the maintained route. The customer must still use the official national system or provider and complete any fee, mandate, contract or authority step.
Registered is used only after the customer records the issued number or confirmed result. Ongoing reporting and data updates continue afterward.
Country processes can change after the review date. Follow the linked official source and treat the authority or provider as the final decision-maker.
